Those Who Help You Tell Your Story
Elizabeth Whitmore, PLPC (Supervised by Jackie DeWald, #2014034446)
Being human can be hard—and we all need support sometimes. With everything happening around us and within us, navigating life can feel overwhelming. Counseling offers a space to acknowledge what you’re going through or what you’ve been through, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
As a counselor, I strive to create a space where you feel safe and supported to show up exactly as you are—however that may look like. I work from a humanistic and emotion-focused perspective; I see you as the expert on your own life, and together, we’ll explore your emotions and how they speak to your needs. We’ll also explore your thought patterns and values to help you move towards and achieve your goals.
I work with adolescents and adults facing a variety of concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, identity exploration, LGBTQIA+ issues, and challenges related to family dysfunction.
