We often find ourselves in a state of “in-between.” Whether that’s in-between jobs, identities, relationships, homes, and stages of life; life is a series of transitions. As we move through these transitions we make connections between where we’ve been, where we currently are, and where we hope to go – which can be a deeply empowering and healing experience! This experience of coming to know ourselves holistically can create beautiful new possibilities. That is what therapy is about.
In our work together, we’ll create a space that is validating, warm, and comfortable yet challenging enough to encourage your growth. We’ll approach therapy in a way that emphasizes feeling heard and understood while finding safety within the uncomfortable work of growth.
In therapy we’ll also learn to witness ourselves in relationships, whether that is our relationship with our emotions, our loved ones, our past, our family, our friends, and even between ourselves as client and counselor. Seeing ourselves more clearly is an act of healing that can be very energizing and beautiful. I am eager for the opportunity to learn about the beauty that is your life.
